The product uses the water-based resin and accessory ingredients to replace the traditional organic solvent, adopting water-based workmanship to manufacture. The product is nonirritating, healthy and environment friendly to make you move in once you have completed the brushing.

Suitable Applications:

When it is used together with the Star Home water-based and transparent primer, they can widely be applied to the surface protection and decoration of the bamboo and wood products such as indoor doors, windows, furniture and wainscot board.

Theoretical Coverage:

The brushing area for one time is 15~20 Square meter/kg (theoretical value). The actual paint consumption amount depends on dilution ratio, ways to construct and how flat the base materials are.

 

Dilution:

No addition of water. 10%~20% purified water should be added to dilute under the special situation.

 

Application Technology:

May be applied by brush and spray. It’s suggest two or three coats(according to film thickness), re-coating time is min 4 hours.

 

Application Conditions:

Application should be carried on under temperature between 5°C~30°C, the moisture content of wood substrates should be below 14%, relative humidity below 80%. All surfaces should be smooth, dry and clean without dirt and oily stains. Surfaces abrasion may be used for surface preparation.

 

Application Method:

The product must be well stirred and 10 min standing before use. Do not mix with Solvent-based coating. It’s suggested to apply multi-coats with thin films rather than thicker film for either brushing or spraying application. In case of long re-coat time and the film is already dry-through, the surface muse be polished before applying the next coat.

Drying Time:

The coat surface will preliminarily get dry under the condition-- 30min/25°C. The actual condition to fully get dry is 24h/25°C.Recoat time is min 4 hours( temperature 25°C, relative humidity 50%)

 

Equipment Cleaning:

Clean all equipment immediately after use. The brush should be put into water for next time to use. For dried paint that retains on spraying gun, it needs to wash with acetone or specialty clean-up solvents thus personal protection exercises must be carried out.

 

Storage:

Water-based wood paint should be stored in well-ventilated areas. Best storage temperature is 10°C~30°C.Do not store below 0°C. Under normal conditions. The warranty period is 18 months.

 

Notice:

Fully be stirred before using it. Please use up the product unsealed as soon as possible. Avoid children. Avoid splashing into eyes. In case of incident above metioned, flush immediately with large amounts of water. In severe cases, go to hospital.,
